Debate, City Creek, and Countdown to Christmas!

2:41 PM

Thursday I had my first debate tournament! The event I compete in is Lincoln Douglas Debate. I love it! I placed 1st-which came as a complete shock!-and was so excited. :) My next tournament will be on January 4th, the day after I get back from Christmas break... that should be interesting!

Last weekend my parents went to California for my dad's work party... So Campbell & I got to stay at the Austin's! (Thanks so much!)

On Friday night I got to spend some time at a friend's birthday party! It was so fun to get to join the celebration- especially because I hadn't seen most of the people that were there in such a long time!!
Here is a lovely picture of Olivia & I Friday night. ;)
Saturday I had my first (I know... ridiculous that it was my first) experience at City Creek Mall in Salt Lake!! I love it there... and I'm so excited to go back as soon as I can! It was actually *snowing* as we were walking around, so that made it an extra adventure and a half (and for the one that forgot her coat.....extra cold :P)!
Olivia, Daela-Kate, Sierra, Kaylee, Sarah, and I at City Creek Mall!

Olivia & I hanging out at the mall. :)

Daela, Olivia, and I in Nordstrom after the perfume incident. :P

Oh... and another great thing about City Creek... there's a Chick-Fil-A at the food court. I don't think I can explain how much I love Chick-Fil-A to you. :) It was amazing.

Sunday I went to Midway 5th Ward as a visitor! Crazy, I know. It was so fun to get to visit with everyone again! :)

I'm psyched for Christmas break!! I just have to survive a half of a school day... then I won't have to go back until January 3rd! Woot woot! :)

Just in case you're wondering...

...And there are the crazy adventures of Hadley Bea!

  1. Had, be honest. You don't ever "forget" your coat, you just like to go on strike for winter and don't wear a coat. :)
