Welcome fall.

If you don't know...I LOVE hot chocolate. Like...*love* it. Last Christmas my family spent the holiday in Las Vegas. While there, we went to one of my favorite restaraunts, Max Brenner: Chocolate By the Bald Man. It's the most delicious dessert place ever. While there, I bought what's called a "Hug Mug." It's adorable! It's made to fit perfectly in your hands...it just makes the hot cocoa drinking experience that much better. :)

Another random fact about me...I love when the leaves change color in the autumn. And acorns on the ground? Like the most adorable thing ever. Hahaha, I know, it sounds dorky, but I'm serious! Mckay, CJ, and I got to go up to Midway this weekend and stay with my Grandma & Grandpa Rasband. When we were on a walk, there were acorns all over the ground and the leaves were starting to change colors! It was beautiful. I tried to take a picture to capture the moment, but my phone camera doesn't do it justice.

By the way...take an extra close look at my blog signature! IT. IS. MY. OWN. HANDWRITING. Like....I actually wrote it!! How cool is that?! Yeah....my brother-in-law is pretty cool and helped me figure out how to do it. :)

Dear Daddy,

Daddy-o. I love you! I couldn't imagine life without you...and quite frankly, I wouldn't want to. Since I can remember we have been best friends...and most of my earliest memories involve you making me laugh. From time spent sitting in your big truck belting Tim McGraw with you and Mckayber to sitting on the couch with you last night discussing the gospel, I couldn't imagine a better dad.

I love all of our dorky secret handshakes and inside jokes. I love that I feel comfortable telling you anything...and you give me advice when I need it most. I love that even though you're 2 states away, you're still always willing to help me with writing papers and coming up with pros and cons (even though you didn't know what that meant...;)) for my debates.

You really are my hero, daddy, and I couldn't ask for anyone better. Thanks for *all* you do...even if I couldn't name half of the things you do for me & our family.

You're the best.

Oh my goodness. I don't think i've had 30 minutes to just sit down and not have to worry about anything for a LONG time. Even right now...I should be studying for my vocabulary test in English. Whoops!

2 Weeks of Bliss.

Girl's Camp was July 30th through August 3rd. Now, if you know me...you'd know I normally wouldn't call camping *blissful.* But let me tell you...it was amazing. I loved it!

I also got the opportunity to go and spend a week at efy (Especially for Youth) and stay in the dorms on BYU campus with Sadie Tullis! It was amazing.

So...my 2 weeks of bliss are over, and I am so grateful to everyone who was involved. I made wonderful memories, strengthened friendships, and made many new life-long friends!

My dad is currently working in San Francisco, California at San Francisco State University. This means that he has an apartment in San Fran...which means my family is lucky enough to spend a couple weeks with him out here! Thanks, Papa :)
