This week/weekend has been wonderful! I'm so grateful for all of those that have been apart of it. :) Here is a little update on what I've done:

Wednesday: My friend, Mandy Durland's birthday! Mandy, Katy, and I went to the Provo Mall. We got pretzels, walked around the stores, and even played with the coin tunnel thing! It was such a blast!

Saturday was crazy. I had to be at Provo High at 7 in the morning. From there, we headed to American Leadership Academy in Spanish Fork for a debate tournament! I was at the debate tournament all day long- and got back to Provo High 12 hours later.

 When I walked in my door--my friends were already in my house. :) I had planned a party for that night not realizing how late my debate tournament would go. Whoops! We played ping-pong, pool, ate treats, and listened to music. It was fantastic. :)

So because it's a new year... I decided to have a 2013 'theme.' I'm actually really excited about it! My theme this year (my freshman/sophomore years of high school, learning to drive, expanding my horizons, etc.) is going to be "enjoy life." Just like that. :)

This morning Dad, Mckay, and I went and picked Madi & McKay from the airport (they've been on their honeymoon in Hawaii)! We made signs for the airport. :)

After we came back from the airport we went to church. The Christmas Program sacrament meeting is always my favorite. :) Tonight we went and saw the Bellagio fountains & gardens on Las Vegas Blvd. Beautiful! :)

Today is McKay's birthday!! We have given him his presents throughout the day, and for his birthday dessert he chose Pretzel Jello Salad... which I was totally okay with! ;)

Yesterday started Winter Break. I'm ecstatic! A TWO WEEK break from high school. It shall be wonderful. :)

 Because we had a half day yesterday, my friend Isaac invited some friends to go to the temple! Provo temple is closed right now, so we went to the Timpanogas temple. It was such a great experience! So glad I got to go. :)

I was also invited to go play volleyball last night. As you know, I have no athletic ability whatsoever... so it was a little bit embarrassing. But oh well! :) I actually think I improved as the night went on!! Overall, I was pretty proud of my performance at the end! It was a lot of fun. :)

Sarah, my really good friend, got to spend the night last night down here with me and I'm so glad! It was so much fun! Tomorrow is her birthday, so as my birthday present to her, I decided to take her out to lunch! She chose Olive Garden, which I was perfectly happy with ;), and we felt awesome being there by ourselves. :) It was so much fun to get to spend the time we did with each other!!

On Friday night I got to spend some time at a friend's birthday party! It was so fun to get to join the celebration- especially because I hadn't seen most of the people that were there in such a long time!!

Saturday I had my first (I know... ridiculous that it was my first) experience at City Creek Mall in Salt Lake!! I love it there... and I'm so excited to go back as soon as I can! It was actually *snowing* as we were walking around, so that made it an extra adventure and a half (and for the one that forgot her coat.....extra cold :P)!

I have a problem. I'm an absolute perfectionist. Today I got my second tardy in my life. I'm still freaking out inside about it. Both of my tardies have been this year, and they both happen to be to my 8th period, Honors Biology.

I know what you're thinking... I'm ridiculous. But seriously. This is a problem. I came home from school and told my mom about it. You know, usually with people my age it would be the other way around- the kid is cool about it & the parent is freaking out? Yeah, it was the opposite. :/
