This morning Dad, Mckay, and I went and picked Madi & McKay from the airport (they've been on their honeymoon in Hawaii)! We made signs for the airport. :)

After we came back from the airport we went to church. The Christmas Program sacrament meeting is always my favorite. :) Tonight we went and saw the Bellagio fountains & gardens on Las Vegas Blvd. Beautiful! :)

Today is McKay's birthday!! We have given him his presents throughout the day, and for his birthday dessert he chose Pretzel Jello Salad... which I was totally okay with! ;)

Yesterday started Winter Break. I'm ecstatic! A TWO WEEK break from high school. It shall be wonderful. :)

 Because we had a half day yesterday, my friend Isaac invited some friends to go to the temple! Provo temple is closed right now, so we went to the Timpanogas temple. It was such a great experience! So glad I got to go. :)

I was also invited to go play volleyball last night. As you know, I have no athletic ability whatsoever... so it was a little bit embarrassing. But oh well! :) I actually think I improved as the night went on!! Overall, I was pretty proud of my performance at the end! It was a lot of fun. :)

Sarah, my really good friend, got to spend the night last night down here with me and I'm so glad! It was so much fun! Tomorrow is her birthday, so as my birthday present to her, I decided to take her out to lunch! She chose Olive Garden, which I was perfectly happy with ;), and we felt awesome being there by ourselves. :) It was so much fun to get to spend the time we did with each other!!

On Friday night I got to spend some time at a friend's birthday party! It was so fun to get to join the celebration- especially because I hadn't seen most of the people that were there in such a long time!!

Saturday I had my first (I know... ridiculous that it was my first) experience at City Creek Mall in Salt Lake!! I love it there... and I'm so excited to go back as soon as I can! It was actually *snowing* as we were walking around, so that made it an extra adventure and a half (and for the one that forgot her coat.....extra cold :P)!

I have a problem. I'm an absolute perfectionist. Today I got my second tardy in my life. I'm still freaking out inside about it. Both of my tardies have been this year, and they both happen to be to my 8th period, Honors Biology.

I know what you're thinking... I'm ridiculous. But seriously. This is a problem. I came home from school and told my mom about it. You know, usually with people my age it would be the other way around- the kid is cool about it & the parent is freaking out? Yeah, it was the opposite. :/

On Thursday I met up with some friends at Wasatch High and went to their first basketball home game! Mckay was going up to attend their choir concert, so I decided to go up with him. :) It was a lot of fun to get to see and talk with everyone again!

Friday night I got to go to Chasing Mavericks at the dollar movie with Mckay, Campbell, and the Swanson girls... Some of our new friends. :) It was tons of fun! I loved the movie... I would totally recommend it!!

Saturday morning was our ward Christmas party... breakfast with Santa! The food was great. :) The young women helped at the craft table. We were making reindeer out of candy canes and string... So cute!

At 2 o'clock yesterday was Provo High's ballroom & modern dance recital. I have multiple friends that dance, so it was fun to go see everyone dance!


Last night some friends from Wallsburg came up & had a movie/game night with Mckay and I. Here are some pictures to show the fun :)

Today my cousins came over for dinner & we partied. :) We even had pazookies (cookies not all the way done in these cool little pans that we have with ice cream on top!) for dessert!! :)

Such an exciting weekend! 

On Thursday I get to up to Wasatch High again for a debate tournament with my school!! I'm so excited for the tournament- I'll update you on how it goes. :)

My Mom is out of town right now... So I decided to make dinner. I attempted one of our favorite recipes, Chicken Cordon Blue. My mom said it was super easy... and luckily it was. It was my first time making, so I'm super proud of how it turned out!! Needless to say... I'm satisfied with the dish I made. :)

Cole & April went to a family in their ward's house for dinner, so it was my Dad, Madi & McKay, Mckay, Campbell and I that ate together. :)

We had way too much fun with the "Backwards App" on my Dad's iPad. Seriously... We could play with it for hours. Our favorite words to say backwards is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.... Quite entertaining to hear it backwards. :) We were also figuring out how to say all of our names backwards... just in case you're interested, mine is Yeldah. How attractive is that?! ;)

Tonight we get the opportunity to watch the LDS Christmas Devotional and I'm really looking forward to it! Just in case you didn't know, I LOVE Christmas time. Seriously. I love the lights, the music, the food, the feelings, the smells.... I just really love it. This week we put up our tree, and I love it! We haven't even decorated it yet, but I'm totally okay with that. I love looking at our house from the street and seeing a Christmas tree in the window! :)

Yesterday we got to go to Mckay's Old Time Radio Show, and it was great! Mckay is in the Concert Choir at Provo High. He's amazing. :) The concert was fun to attend, especially because they even added commercials and sketches in between songs! It was highly entertaining.
